A new academic year provides an important moment to take stock and recalibrate for the future. As the dynamics we face as a sector continue to change the international education landscape, this moment calls for leaders who can navigate change while keeping sight of what comes next. 

As we open our 2026-27 election cycle, we are accepting nominations for President-Elect – an opportunity to help shape AIEA’s priorities, direction, and future. The President-Elect plays a vital role in advancing our mission, guiding strategic conversations, and representing the association within the broader international higher education community. 

We invite you to lend your voice and leadership to help shape what comes next. Nominations are open to all AIEA members through September 25.
